Malaysia’s Year of Independence.

Here’s a thought, have you ever tried searching/Google-ling ‘1957’ before? I bet you haven’t.

But if you do, what do you see?

On Google we have the normal first few entries, Wikipedia’s entry of the year of 1957, followed by ‘1957 in music’. Same goes with Yahoo. (Click here for 1957@Google, 1957@Yahoo)

Now lets look for a content about Malaysia or Malaya.

Near the bottom of Google’s first search page we have Jeff Ooi’s post on Malaysia.

But there’s none for Yahoo.

Back to topic, is it SEO didn’t work for who posted, or was it I searching for the wrong keywords? On the other hand, does the lack of Malaysia related post of that year somehow show how much we’ve really accomplished in our 50th year?

Dell Malaysia New Notebook Lineup

Dell Malaysia has just recently announced 4 new models to add to their current lineup. Some replacing older models like the Dell XPS M1210 which I just recently bought (dang!)

The new models are Inspiron 1420, Inspiron 1520, Inspiron 1720 and XPS M1330. The model number represents the screen size of each notebook. (1420 features a 14.2 inch screen, and so forth)

All the new Laptop models features Intel Core 2 Duo and Windows Vista and has built in Bluetooth. It also comes with an optional Blu-ray Disc Drive (BD/DVD/CD Burner with dual layer capability) and an Intel 4965AGN 802.11n Mini Card.

Ultimate list: Nuffnang Private Screening: Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End [29/5 12PM]

So here we go again.

Presenting the Ultimate list: Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End (A Nuffnang Private Movie Screening Event).

The event was held at Cathay Cineplex Cineleisure Damansara, Kuala Lumpur on the 24th of May 2007.

With 250 bloggers attending the event, including some high profile bloggers like HongKiatdotcom (tech blogger ok!! important, important. :P), Rojaks, ZeoShaolintiger, Paul Tan, Jeff Ooi, and many more!

So far, this is the Largest Blogger Event Ever Held in the History of the Malaysian Blogosphere.
