I got a shocker when I noticed my Flickr had that ‘Pro’ logo beside my name yesterday.

First on my mind was "Did someone bought me Flickr Pro?"

Obviously no one did.

What actually happened was when Yahoo Photos decided to close down and Yahoo wants to concentrate on Flickr, they sent out mails to existing users to save a copy of their photos in Yahoo Photos or transfer them to Flickr.

I decided to transfer over my old photos into Flickr. It took them about 3 days to complete the transfer. Upon completion, they sent an email notification, but I totally missed the part where they said "We’ve given you 3 months of Flickr Pro!"

*cries*

Not really a big deal.. just that i can no longer view my older photos.. I wonder what other limitations are there…

Remember last time i was cursing about Flickr that I had 2 seperate accounts with the same name, and I couldn’t access one of it? I sent in a complain thru their online feedback system [toking giberrish computer terms]..

I’m not sure whether this is possible, but i currently have 2 accounts to myself and pictures in both accounts. The problem is, I can only access one of it. Please assist.

Hi Aaron,

I’m sorry, it shouldn’t be possible, but you do have two Flickr accounts tied to the same Yahoo account. I will have to delete one of them in order for you to use the other. Which is the one you want to keep and which is the one you want deleted?

Is it possible for you to transfer all the photos into an account and close the empty account? I have pictures uploaded on both accounts.. If it’s isnt possible, then just delete the account with lesser pictures uploaded..

And so I agreed, 5 days ago… Still waiting for a reply from them.. Don’t know why is it so long.. I can’t post new posts with photos in it coz I can’t upload to my current account, coz it’s due for deletion. Then maybe gotta wait again till they link my yahoo account correctly to the correct flickr account.. bla bla bla..

Well, mabe I shud be greatful tat they respond unlike other services which uses forum for responses.. forum, there’s a good and bad.. good: faster response.. bad: may include wrong solutions coz its open to public..
