Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pavilion is the latest shopping complex to set foot in the Bukit Bintang area. JY, AbbyC and I went to Pavilion KL to have a look at the new shopping complex.
Located at the starting (or ending?) end of Jalan Bukit Bintang entrance is less congested because there’s entrance on Jalan Raja Chulan as well.
Parking is ample but at the same time expensive. My 2 hours of visiting costs RM5.50 on that Saturday. View the parking rates here.
The lowest floor is dedicated to food, called Gourmet Emporium. Food Republic food court will also be there soon.
There was a Focus Point Fashion show going on as well on that day. A lot of professional photographers were present as well.
Pavilion is separated into a few parts, bottom floor – food, 1st-3rd, east & west wings top brands & concept shops, north wing, Bintang Circle (public space). 4th floor – specialty restaurants, GSC Cinema.
Here’s a few pictures taken with my K800i. Images have been resized to optimize image loading.

From top, left to right: Bintang Circle (viewing towards Jalan Bukit Bintang), Bintang Circle (horizontal panorama view of the escalators & adjacent floors), Couture Pavilion (viewing from the 4th floor overseeing link bridges on each floors), Bintang Circle (vertical panorama view of the stage as well as ‘8′ shaped escalators.
Overall the Pavilion is pretty but still undergoing tenant constructions at parts of the building. If you see ‘Seventh Heaven’, it’s actually a Spa, not a club or heaven.
Do check out Pavilion’s website.
