Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch 1.7

*finally* InfinityWard has released the official patch for 1.6 and 1.7 just days within each other. The purpose of patch 1.7 is to fix a few bugs that’s present in patch 1.6. Below is the release notes for patch 1.7.

  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
  • Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

Please note that you need to have patch 1.6 before updating your Call of Duty 4 to patch 1.7.

You do not need a No-CD No-DVD Fixed-EXE patch for patch 1.7.
