Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has a new patch, version 1.6. The latest patch for the popular first person shooter has been leaked out one day prior to its release.

The new patch features:

• New maps Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, and Killhouse
• Hardcore and oldschool server browser filters
• Fix for a Denial of Service attack.
• Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5

However, this patch does not include the new KillCams as recently discussed on COD forums.

The official release for patch 1.6 is June 5th, but you can download it a day early at one of the following mirrors

• Nvidia
• TotalGamingFiles
• Multiplay
• GameUpdates (BitTorrent)

Patch 1.6 is 262.8MB and it includes all patch 1.5 updates

Note: Feel free to download the patch in anticipation, but remember that the majority of servers won’t be able to run it yet
