Since the list is already a success, so it’s time for my post as well.

This is about Nuffnang’s Private Screening of the Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End.

Just before the evening, me went to Raintree to have a hair cut just for the outing. RM30 gone like that. Went to Lisan’s crib and picked her up. But she’s not watching though. Came to see her.. ehem. Oh well, you know who la. me. lol… just kidding.

We got to Cineleisure quite early at around 6PM. Since Hongkiat, Cely, Earl and Zeo wasn’t there yet (bloody lazy fellas. always late one. haish…), so we decided to check out the Nuffnang booth.

On arrival, we found out there’s MORE than one booth over there. Nearly sesated to the wrong booth… Then we found out it’s at the next floor of the cinema.

The table was the only thing there till someone put up a small board saying that’s the Nuffnang booth.

Since we were still early, we went for a drink at Kopitiam at The Street and waited for everyone else.

The initial plans was me, jason, hk, cely and zeo meeting up for dinner, but that didn’t go as planned. In fact, like a whole mob was there.

First came CKYeo and Kenny Ng. Then Jason. Then hk and cely and 2 other girls (which Jason was looking at the whole time) and finally followed by Zeo & his girlfriend (alamak, I don’t remember her name already). Penny was there, but duno when she showed up.

We decided to makan at Fridays, and Jason belanja with his bling bling card (which everyone else had to pay him in cash later la). Wingz was also there but was sitting at the different table.

About 8PM, we fought our way for tickets, just to find out, it’s all free seating. Earl showed up nearly to 9. Anyways, since it’s free seating, we had to make up a plan. Hk, Zeo and Earl are the culprits obviously. I don’t do this kinda things.

So the plan was, fat man Earl blocks traffic from getting into the row of seats, while tech guy hk and tall guy zeo blocks the other end.

That failed miserably.

In the end, we just sat near each other, across few rows.

Movie started around 9.15PM with a small speech by Timothy just before that.

Movie was funny and quite enjoyable, but I felt it stretched a little too long (since I yawned around 2 hours into the movie). But overall, I give it a A-. Worth watching again? You bet.

Just after the credits started to roll out, everyone started to run out as if there’s a fire or something. Maybe 3 hours of sitting in the cinema took it’s toll to people who has their tank filled with water and can’t wait to get it all out. But… they didn’t know, that there was a few more scenes in between the credits where Elizabeth Swann and her 10 year old child meets husband, Will Turner again.

Everyone was looking up. (Lousy pic, flash didn’t fire)

For those who haven’t watch, that’s all the spoiler you gonna get from me. Just stay on a little more when the credits start to roll.

After the movie, pretty much everyone left for home except for me, cely, hk, earl, belle and her friend, siew li. We went for a quick drink at Sanctuary and went for supper at Uptown PJ right after that.

I’m home at 2.30AM. Enjoyed the whole day with these Nerds… Hehehe…

So, who’s going to organise the next outing? Bowling outing next time?
