Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Version 2008

I was surprised when I was using the latest Windows Live Messenger after installing the Windows Live Writer for testing purposes. It seemed that I was forced to update my Windows Live Messenger when I installed Windows Live Writer Beta.

After some checking, I’m not sure whether I’m using the Beta version or the Final released version of Windows Live Messenger 8.5.

It’s pretty much the same since I last reviewed the previous Beta 1 version of the Windows Live Messenger 8.5. Check out Windows Live Messenger’s Development blog. It keeps track of all the updates done to the latest version as well as some troubleshooting tips if you can’t get your WLM to work or installed.

Download Links to the Beta and official Final version is at the end of the post.

This was made by Microsoft UK, check out the Windows Live Messenger Features preview.

narrowband: I guess, if you like eye candy, this would be the one you want.. but in my opinion, there’s no huge difference between the 8.1 and 8.5 versions. =)
