PacMee.com is a new online services which offers features similar to Twitter. PAC stands for Personalisation, Advertisement and Communication. The service was launched on the 6th of August 2007. It is micro blogging service that keep your friends (followers) updated on your current on-going.
Now advertisement doesn’t mean Nuffnang or Advertlets, but it’s more to advertising yourself to the possible hundreds or thousands of PacMee users.
At first glance, registration is pretty simple, just send your first ShoutOut (that’s what they call it) to 22700 and your account is automatically created. You’ll receive a message with details and your temporary password on how to login. Oh, it comes in 3 different languages, English, Malay and Chinese. You can change your username & password after logging in.
Multi lingual for ShoutOuts is the key feature here.
On my second glance, it look as though PacMee is a service by Maxis, a Malaysian Internet & Telco company. However I do not have any prove of that at the time of writing.

It is currently only available to Maxis postpaid and Hotlink prepaid users.
To be honest, it’s 80% similar to Twitter.com. The remaining 20% is where you start to lose money.
PacMee is a charged service provider.
